Inflatable Paddle Board Review

Asenne are a Scandinavian brand who have been producing high-end iSUPs for the last 4 years.

The 2018 Voyager is sleek fast and stable. The minimal nose rocker makes it more suitable for flatwater but it will cope with small chop.

It's nice and manoeuvrable for a tourer and the raised grippy kick-board gives more control for inexperienced paddlers when developing pivot turns.

The square tail adds stability and at 30" wide, the board has a sleek and glides extremely well.

A great touring iSUP which is sleek and sporty enough to have real fun on the water.

Little to choose between the top boards in this category. 4 boards scored 4.6 out of 5.

A great flat water tourer which delivers against all our Touring Inflatable Paddle Board Performance Criteria.

The sleek shaping and 9" centre fin produces great speed on the water while the raised kick-board will give inexperienced paddle boarders confidence as they develop their turning technique.  Despite being one of the narrower boards in the Touring Category, the square tail gives plenty of stability and the Voyage will even easily catch small waves.

As with all the boards reviewed in 2018, the Asenne Voyager is manufactured at one of the World's top iSUP factories. We can therefore guarantee the materials, accessories and manufacturing processes are of the highest quality.

The board has a double layer polymer fusion construction with double layered rails. This results in a light weight (10.5kg) yet extremely stiff and responsive board.

The Asenne Voyager has a single fin set-up.

The centre 9" fin is housed in a standard US Fin Box, using the traditional screw plate to secure it. The fin is large enough to provide excellent tracking and stability.

The Asenne Voyager comes with a Bravo SUP4 2 way pump which inflates the board easily and quickly. In our experience the Red Paddle Titan is the only hand pump currently included in iSUP packages which out performs the Bravo SUP 4.

The bag is a hardwearing wheeled back pack. Suitable for travel and general storage. Little to differentiate from most similar wheeled iSUP bags.

The standard paddle supplied is a basic aluminium paddle. However, there is an option to upgrade to a carbon version for an extra 150 Euros.
